General Terms and Conditions

By booking a transportation with JPB Tours, you accept our General Conditions of Carriage for passengers and luggage. Be sure to read these conditions carefully.

All reservations must be confirmed at least 2 weeks in advance. If it is a trip of several days, such as an excursion, it must be booked months in advance.

Any cancellation of service has two types of penalties:

2.1 If the cancellation is made 1 month in advance, 20% of the advance payment will be assumed as a penalty, in order to recognize administrative and logistical expenses.

2.2 If the cancellation of the service is made within 1 week, 100% of the advance payment will be assumed as a penalty, in order to recognize administrative and logistical expenses.

Changes of dates to reschedule the transportation service must be notified at least 1 month in advance, in order to avoid additional charges. If the change of date is 1 week before, a penalty of 20% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged.

4.1 Passengers declare that they are fully aware of the contents of all their baggage.

4.2 Passengers undertake not to lose sight of their baggage from the moment they prepare it, as well as not to accept items from other Passengers or any other person.

4.3 Passengers are advised not to include perishable or fragile items in their baggage. If, however, the Passenger does include such items or objects in his or her baggage, he or she must ensure that they are properly and securely packed and protected in appropriate containers so as not to damage such items or objects or cause damage to baggage belonging to other Passengers or to the Airline's aircraft.

4.4 While the luggage remains inside the transport, JPB tours is not responsible for any damage or loss of the luggage contents.

JPB Tours will always be attentive to any special requirements from the passenger with special conditions, these requirements must have been requested at the time of requesting the service.

The units affiliated to JPB Tours have full coverage insurance. All passengers will be covered by the insurance while they are inside the transportation.

7.1 When hiring the transportation services of JPB Tours, the company agrees to assign professional drivers, knowledgeable of the route to be followed.

7.2 Drivers are committed to comply with the route requested by the passenger.

7.3 For long daily routes, 2 drivers will be sent, 1 as the main driver and one as a back-up driver, called a co-driver. This is if the main driver suffers an illness that renders him/her unable to continue driving, in which case the co-driver will take over. 

7.4 The assigned drivers will always be available to the passengers, and also to support them in any situation that the passenger does not know about the route. 

 

8.1 All contracted units are fully insured.

8.2 The units requested by each passenger shall comply with all requirements.

8.3 If there is any mechanical imperfection of the unit on the route, a transfer will be made to another unit of the agency or another agency associated with JPB Tours. The waiting time for the transfer will depend on the location where the mechanical defect occurs.
